The fall of 1 2 3 submit pro(its down)

1 2 3 submit Pro also known as websitesubmit hypermart was a website used for SEO it would allow you to submit your website to various search engines, I had used if for the longest time on this site but unforchently not only did they require you to implement a ad or else you are violating their terms and agreement but their site has been down for quiet sometime.

They began offering other SEO services and buried their web sublimation tools further and pushed their paid for SEO service tools.

The other services promissed to boost your website in search engines, and gain you more views. I was appart of their associates program where I got those services for free so long as I continued to display ads for signing up for the same services and was even offered commission on if a sale was made through it, not one sale came from this ad, more sales came from my personal ads for my products.

The associates program ment I had to sell to get the same service, which it never sold, since the link has been broken I have actually increased in views which is odd.  I have not removed the links yet because of that and because I am simply waiting for the service to come back on but it seems like it being down for several days( almost a week), is a bit un-insuring that it will come back.

I have not heard any information on why it is down, just 404 & 403 errors everywhere. The parent site hypermart.net is still up and offering similar services but only for websites created with their tools and using their hosting service. So it is unknown to the cause of why it is down, but it is. If it remains down for another few days those empty ad boxes maybe gone and up for grabs, as the service maybe out pertinently with those 403 errors.

Hyperkin Smartboy Pre-oder

The Smartboy Development Kit just went up for pre-order on hyperkins website, and it means just a few things a far from the final product. This product is allows you to play gameboy games, the physical games with a gameboy-like controller that attaches itself to your phones, it uses opensource-ish emulation software similar to the Hyperkin retron5, probably will have outlash by retroarch again with hypocritical outlash.

The smartboy development kit forces the games into a 3:4 ratio with it's case, and the emulation software itself.

It loads the roms onto the device for temp use then uses the temp stored roms to play the games, much like the retron5, this prevents piracy.

The device starts out at $59.99 but shipping and handling will add more to the cost. To be honest I can see myself getting this once a serious price drop happens, and it will probably get much unneeded outlash from the folks at retroarch again, on legalize that they don't understand and quickly censor out people who do, and point out violations on retroarches part super emposing and modifying licences agreemments like gplv3 which is disallowed.

Preorder it here: http://hyperkinlab.com/smartboy-development-kit/

Megaman legacy collections 3ds Gamestop clearance

Recently I went into a gamestop in lycoming mall Pennsylvania, I went there while visting some of my wife's aunts, uncles, and cousins. When I was there I was surprised to see that in the gamestop they had a number of "New" items being "clearance" out, including megaman legacy, legend of zelda four swords, and a bunch of wii games as if they never sold. So I picked up Megaman legacy collection for $21.95. It has the first 6 megaman games, 2 3ds themes, and a sound track code inside, along with 3 stickers.

The menu system inside the emulator is in 3d, and it is rather limited. you can play both the American and Japanese releases of all 6 nes megaman classics.  The emulator has control options, boarders forcing 3:4 screen ratio, and a save state system. There are some issues with the emulator such as color is slightly off in each game and there is graphical artifacts in the most right collumn like in most emulators and console clones. It is in the orignal games but not as bad.

The game also includes additional content: a challenge mode(similar to nes remix), measuem(contains art work and old mannuals), and a "Data base"(has information in every character).

There is a music player which has every games sound track, and a amibo scanning option, which is for the megaman amibo(I do not own).

The game is well worth it seeing how each game on the eshop is $5+ and there is no challenge mode, and you can't play both USA & japanese releases.

Draft archieve: Why the ouya failed

For what ever reason I had stopped working on research for this article, so I will post it in its draft form:

The goal of this post is to establish many faults and reasons why the ouya failed, and really how it died.

The ouya was a great concept, it took a lot of time and effort to make. Too much time infact it was delayed a whole year late, and when it did come out it wasn't finished. The bluetooth & wireless networking chip in the first retail store model was one in the same, and it was a low powered cheap barely functional chip not made to handle more than 1 bluetooth device w/ a wireless network, add a second player and you may have input lag issues, add a 3rd or 4th controller even with wifi turned off you will be lucky to even be able to play a multiplayer game without running into massive massive input issues.

Then come the promisses of games that never came, with games like "minecraft", and various other already popular games making its way to the ouya, with its only actual insentive being anyone can develop for the system that can for android. Well that isn't entirely true, developers may have been able to make it work on the system but to get on the storefront you would have to edit the android manifest and with some engines it was impossible to do so, and it would require modified versions of those tools for it to work, and even then there would be problems with performance. The ouya used a tegra 3 processor, which at the time in 2012 was fine but the issue is with the small

SEO what they don't tell you

they wont tell you
First and for most I am not saying all the tips are bad ones, there are a few that don't bring anything to the table on smaller scale sites, and well lets face it how search engines grab data is a bit different from one another. Bing, MSN, yahoo, and duckduckgo take their results from google. Google has a rather large algorithm that has various variables, the number one being campaign funding from adwords and adsense to push key words up and to push a site up the list. This may change but more than likely won't. Along with that throw in the youtube campaign advertising.

More important for SEO is social media integration, make sure you have as many options to share your content across social media as possible, this includes facebook, but much like google you can select and create campaigns to go to certain target markets but with facebook you can opt to do it for free for far far far less results. Doing this and sharing your content across facebook can potentially increase site visibility and push your ads up slightly farther based off clicks just to intense you to pay for it to boost it higher, once you pay once it will permanent increase it from before you did it the first time, but the longer you pay the higher it goes and the more it stays up that high.

That being said you can also be bumped down the search and results list and miss more of your target market.

Create a facebook page for sure though, and have it link to your site, constantly share content over it.

Feed burn is a site created back when google was looking into RSS feeding site like this, it is primarily for blog sites, it takes your RSS feed & allows users to get the content straight to them via yahoo feed primarily.
It also incorporates a bunch of services which all promote your site in various ways including automatic twitter posting with common hashtags. link splicers, geotagging, and sharing options which seem to be very broken.  I just started using this yesterday and already have 12+ subscribers.

Backlinks The good and bad:

Backlinks can hurt your site, yes they can, it all depends on the quality of the backlink, some search engines like google use to pump up your sites based on sheer numbers which would push content up based on basically spambots of backlinks. From certain engines like google they look for "quality backlinks" this means whitelisted backlink sites that prevent spam bots. Meaning you have to sign up with each whitelisted backlink site, then hope for approval just to boost it up a little. With some search engines they don't even look at backlinks while others depend on them it really all depends so long as it is not google, or the google search engine thefts.

flickr and imagehost sites:
Providing images to your site is assential feedburn has a thing for sharing images across sites like flickr, digg, and various other sites that all promote your site, but feedburns features are outdated and some are no longer compatible this being one of them. It is important to promote your sites images and videos,(water mark them both), so long as you can provide a means of linking people back to your site. Human behavor is the most important part of understanding more than just SEO, provide links, and watermark them with tinyurl, shorten link, or even QR code. Curiosity killed the cat, satisfaction brought it back.

This is the action of gaining money through advertising means. Google only wants you to see one form of this but there is many. Here is just some forms of this: Commission, Clicks, views, self-promote, sales, paid for time,  cross-promotional(scrub backs), and much much more. You can come up with your own but it takes more than just thinking up a method or form, it takes execution across various platforms.

Commission is obvious you get paid at a percentage rate of a sale for promoting or selling something. Clicks you get paid for every time a ad is clicked on, views is you get paid based off viewership, paid for time is paid for ads at a set rate over time, such as $5 a month for a small adspace(yes I am taking buyers).  self-promote is advertising of your own products on your own site so you gain money through sales for linking people from your site. Cross-promotional would be me advertising a site and them advertising me back, networks do this often.

All these forms can hurt and promote yoursite. For google SEO if you use google ad sense and you make them very little they will push you down their results because you are not making them as much money as other sites, same thing happens on youtube. Which causes the domino effect across Bing, duckduckgo, & any other site that takes google search results for their own search engines.

SEO is changing everyday practically and topic matter is the most important thing to discuss when it comes to this. Most articles are written in a rush when a event happens so accuracy is often not present, some have insider knowledge and have well documented articles well before an announcement and they just have it scheduled to go live on the webs as it is being announced down to the exact second, most companies have subsides to do this on with sub-organizations to make more money and push up certain topic matters. Like Pokemon Go, that topic matter has blown up but with so many people posting content about it is hard to get recognized or even basic viewership even though there are a lot of people searching for it, and the reason is the keywords are being pushed up, and key sites are to do this, with many of these "gaming news journalists" with insider knowledge prepared along with the rich unprepared inaccurate "journalists" that don't care much pushing their sites up, and posts up while doing advertising to make more money than they spent, just to re-invest it in the same fashion for the next big thing.

things like adwords provide you lists of words that have been searched commonly and similar tags that will boost your viewership. But they don't tell you that everyone else is trying this and those words sometimes are the people testing adwords to see if their site is up on the list but with so many people doing this it dilutes on what is actually being searched thus it doesn't matter all the time, it helps but not all the time.

Title of your article means everything:
Number one thing you should do is use adwords to come up with your title, look for commonly searched words, but like I said earlier how each search engine handles how it grabs it's data is important. Titles are important to most search engines more so than tags even.

Descriptions are used for grabbing the main site often, you can have sub descriptions for specific pages but not all search engines grab every page, it is a good idea how ever to have a page description for each page, so the ones that do grab everything grab it. Keywords are selected within this too for search results but often this is a bottom of the list thing. You can improve it up a few search results though how ever with this little change.

Amendment I:

Twitter and hashtags across social media:

Using popular hashtags yes can gain you more views but it can also bury your content in a mountain of other peoples content, so choose wisely what you pick for sharing hashtags on twitter, and always aim for getting more followers by sharing your content and communicating with your audience. Getting your content out with hashtags is all about timing, if you are the first person to review something then naturally you will gain alot of views, so get your content out and aim for also starting new hashtags but beware hashtag spamming will likely decrease your content across twitter, also don't be afraid to share more than your own content, after all we can't all produce content daily, hourly, and yes sometimes monthly.

Keep in mind you can always do more than just blogging with your blog site as well. For instance I create games there for I share links in my free games tab to where my games are being hosted, which I gain ad revenue on those sites too, along with sales for game content.

Amendment II:

Target audience:

When doing any of this you need to think of who you are targeting, and form your content either around them while being yourself and giving your own touch to it all. Make sure you find something in-common with your own interest and your audience, the content should be you still in the end not what you think will just be popular.

For instance this article for me holds interest with me because I not only am a web-host for this site but I have hand coded sites since I was 7 years old to try to host my games downloads using ftp clients, and I went to college for 4 years for Associates of Applied Science: IT Professional and a C++ skill certificate. So for me obviously I enjoy talking about game development, technology, and software in general. So my target audience is obviously should share one of those interest, now you need to think about perspective and way of life to determine age.

I'm 24, so my target audience is 20-35, and my viewership reflects that on average. Now it doesn't necessarily mean you have to target your own age you can talk about content all sorts of people of all ages of all nationalities, but you can select a nation, or just plain language or any factors, intentionally or unintentionally.

Pokemon go pay to win

Pokemon Go is filled with p2w players.
It doesn't matter the team. I'm on Valor so I don't see it so much from my team but mystic more so then instinct.

Dank memes are everywhere for anti-valor made by mystic players to try to play friendly with instinct players then 3 seconds later call them casual as their gym gets taken over by them.

Too bad there is no team rocket then the teams could stop acting foolish 24/7.

Spriter Asset Pack Coming soon.

Right now I am currently working on a game, in which is under the project name qlife. Right now I am currently working on a various amount of environment animated objects in which I will make into a spriter asset pack more than likely.

Currently I have a few tree's, cars, and road signs animated for being touched, hit, and just plain idle. Idle is for objects being blown by wind mostly.

Here is a few alpha assets:

This asset pack will be cheap, for a price of $1.99 on release. It will contain about 20 sprites as planned now.

Yes I am still working on the nes-like music pack as well, that has been delayed due to hardware issues(midi device is not working properly).

Spriter is software for creating 2d animated sprites in which you rig images to a skeleton much like in 3d modeling software. It can be used with Unity, Construct 2, C# XNA Gamestudio, C++ directx, opengl, SDL, Monogame, lib GDX. and construct2.

You can use it with more by exporting it as spritesheets or gif animated images. It also supports texturepacker.
